Dr. Andrea Lubbers, PT, DPT, COMT
Why You’ll Love Working with Andrea
- Advanced Clinical Certification: Holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and is a Certified Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapist (COMT) with advanced certification in Dry Needling, utilizing specialized hands-on techniques to ease discomfort and improve blood flow.
- Specialized Focus on Women’s Pelvic Health & TMJ: Brings advanced training to women’s pelvic health—including pregnancy, postpartum care, pelvic pain, incontinence, and prolapse—with tailored internal and external options based on patient comfort. She also holds a passionate focus in evaluating and treating Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) pain and dysfunction.
- Individualized & Attentive Care: Believes no two patients are the same, crafting unique plans for every individual rather than relying on one-size-fits-all protocols. She prioritizes listening to your full story so you feel heard, valued, and hopeful again.
- Celebrating Progress & Hope: Inspired since high school to pursue physical therapy, she thrives on building strong connections, encouraging you through every step of rehab, and celebrating every win—big or small.
In Her Own Words
“I love seeing patients light up when they get relief from their pain and leave their sessions full of hope. Helping people achieve their goals and improve their daily lives is what makes this work so rewarding.”
Beyond the Clinic
- Fun Fact: She is surprisingly skilled at mini golf—you can expect her to get a hole-in-one every time she plays!
- Life Outside the Clinic: Andrea is a big movie buff who loves cozy rainy days spent reading or watching films with her family, playing pickleball, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and grabbing a gluten-free chicken wrap and hummus at Meddys.
