Kristi Brewer, Physical Therapist Assistant at Harter Physical Therapy in Goddard, KS

Kristi Brewer, PTA

Why You’ll Love Working with Kristi

  • Strong Exercise & Rehabilitation Science: Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science alongside her Physical Therapist Assistant degree, Kristi pairs her strong expertise in human movement with specialized physical therapy methods to craft tailored recovery plans.
  • Empathy Born from Firsthand Experience: After spending months in rehabilitation for a high school sports injury, Kristi was inspired by her own therapist to pursue this career. She brings that same life-changing empathy, patience, and understanding to every patient she treats.
  • Confidence-Building Support: Kristi believes true recovery goes far beyond physical healing. She focuses on restoring her patients’ independence, building their confidence by celebrating every progress milestone, and helping them safely get back to the sports, jobs, and activities they love.
  • Disciplined & Inspiring Background: Demonstrating exceptional grit and dedication, Kristi serves in the Army National Guard—answering the call to serve later in life and tackling basic training at age 36.

In Her Own Words

“I’m proud to be part of each patient’s recovery journey—not only by helping them improve physically, but by encouraging them, celebrating their progress, and reminding them that every single step forward matters.”

Beyond the Clinic

  • Fun Fact: While she loves following local teams, her kids firmly insist that her favorite NFL team should be the San Francisco 49ers!
  • Life Outside the Clinic: Based at our Goddard location, Kristi loves spending her free time working out, traveling, and staying active outdoors with her family. You’ll often find her cheering on her kids in football, soccer, basketball, and gymnastics, as well as rooting for WSU Basketball and the Wichita Wind Surge.
