Dr. Micah Harder

Dr. Micah Harder, PT, DPT, CMPT

Micah was born in Canada, but grew up in Meade, KS. It was after sustaining a sports injury that kept him off the football field where he took an interest into physical therapy.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science. After completing his Bachelors Degree, Micah was accepted into Wichita State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. While in PT school, Micah was a part of a research collaboration studying the “Effects of Gluteal Squeezes on Gluteal Strength, Power, Endurance, and Girth.” Micah was also the student coordinator for the Guadalupe Health Clinic, which provides pro bono physical therapy services to the members of the Wichita community with limited access to healthcare.

Immediately following graduation from WSU, Micah was drawn to Harter PT because of the emphasis on one-on-one mentorship and an eclectic treatment philosophy. Shortly after starting into practice, he began his Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) training program which he completed in Fall, 2021.

Micah currently lives in West Wichita with his wife, Caitlyn, and their two dogs, Dash and Joe. On the weekends you’ll probably find Micah serving with activities at his church, watching anything and everything science fiction, or experimenting with the latest light roast coffee!
